# Fractional Producing

## Overview

We are Ambition Studios, a Toronto-based, producer-led film and commercial studio. We work with brands, agencies, and talent on commercial and narrative projects, from concept through execution. We work from Toronto and can support projects beyond the city.

We do not currently publish a fractional-producing package with fixed hours, rates, deliverables, or contract terms. If you are considering a part-time or embedded producing arrangement, the scope needs to be defined directly with us.

## Where producer support fits

- Short-form commercial work
- National campaign work

Our commercial work is for brands, agencies, and partners who need a production led by an involved producer and assembled with the appropriate creative and production talent.

### Narrative and original projects

We develop and produce a focused slate of film and television projects. Our current development work includes feature-length projects in genres including speculative drama, psychological horror, thriller, and dark fantasy.

Narrative producing may involve early development, project shaping, writer and director collaboration, and moving a project toward production.

### Concept-to-execution involvement

Our producing work covers commercial and narrative projects from concept through execution.

For projects we take on through our submissions process, we hold the creative, financial, and logistical responsibilities together rather than handing those areas off. We also work with writers, directors, and emerging creative voices when a project is a fit for our slate.

## Potential fit for a part-time engagement

If you are a studio, brand, agency, or production company that needs producing capacity without adding a full-time producer, contact us to discuss the project.

A part-time or embedded engagement may be relevant when you need an experienced producing lead involved across a defined portion of development, planning, production, or execution. We do not publish a standard menu of fractional responsibilities, so the exact role should be agreed before work begins.

A useful initial conversation should establish:

- Whether the work is commercial, narrative, or another form of film or media
- The current stage, from concept or development through production and delivery
- Which responsibilities need coverage
- The expected project dates and working cadence
- The existing creative, production, and client-side team
- The budget context and decision-making structure

We do not publish a standard hourly allocation, monthly retainer, minimum commitment, response-time promise, or replacement policy for fractional producing. Those details need to be confirmed for each engagement.

Our creator submission route is intended for commercial work, original films, or other projects that may fit our slate. We read submissions and take on a small number of projects each year. That language describes project submissions and should not be treated as a published process or acceptance policy for fractional producer support.

## Scope distinction

Fractional producing is intended for part-time or embedded producer support.

Full production services and production consulting are separate areas and should be scoped under their respective service categories.

Pricing, availability, staffing model, working location, and deliverables for fractional producing are not currently specified and should be confirmed directly before any commitment.
